The Causes And Consequences Of Shuttle Rebound In Looms: Maintenance Tips

Reasons and consequences of shuttle bounce:
I. The reason for shuttle bounce back:
1. High throwing force on the opposite side
2. Loose shuttle box.
⑴ Large shuttle box:
① Lift the backboard arms K42 and K43 to loosen.
② The front baffle K12 of the shuttle box is loose.
③ The front brake rail bolt core K41 is loose.
⑵ The shuttle is small.
⑶ Loose shuttle plate springs K52 and K53.

3. Partial failure of buffer device:
(1).The leather ring of the loom is broken.
(2).The edge springs F48 and F49 of the Baffer Band are loose.
(3).Spring discs F107 and F108 do not move or have excessive movement.

II. The consequences of shuttle bounce:
1. The weft yarn becomes loose and twisted, resulting in the phenomenon of weft shrinkage.
2. Reduce the throwing force, clamp the tail of the shuttle, stop or roll the shuttle without reason.
3. Increasing the friction between probe J27 and the weft yarn (on the inner side) resulted in broken weft, double weft, and hundred foot phenomena.

The process of repairing a weaving machine is relatively complex, and it is generally checked step by step using the elimination method. Shuttle bounce is a common fault in the weaving machine shuttle box, and the above content is for everyone to share.
